Dual Filament

The bulbs possess a parallel dual-tube structure which, when in use, illuminates one tube whilst the other is left in standby. After a period of use, there will be a difference in some electrical parameters between the two tubes, and the second tube that was in standby may be activated when turned on while the first tube stays in standby. Lifetime of the lamp is greatly extended by switching the two tubes into use.
