CTFC Manufacturing

A new technology has been developed called crystalline thin film construction (CTFC), enabling solar panels to be manufactured with fewer carbon emissions and with new, more effective materials. This revolutionary process means that our solar panels are much thinner, lighter and less expensive to produce than ever before.

How It Works

Utilising thinner layers of silicon and applying them to a lower-cost substrate obtains efficient energy generation while reducing the cost of production. This application process allows for large-scale production at a lower manufacturing expense whilst at the same time minimising environmental impact through the use of fewer raw materials.

The future of photovoltaic technology is bright with development moving at a rapid rate; many new forms of cell are hitting the market including solar windows which will further increase the energy efficiency of the buildings that we live and work in. All of our PV cells have an effective lifespan of up to 25 years.
